Cameroon Man In Ksh 53 Million Gold Fraud Scandal Charged

Cameroon national arrested at Kenyatta International Airport fleeing Kenya has finally been charged with gold fraud.

Annour Mohamed Sedate the fugitive arrested at JKIA is said to have conspired with other suspects to defraud Ismail Kolawole Adesina Ksh 53,828,400.

Further, he was charged that on diverse dates between March 23 and December 18, 2022 in various places within Kenya, with intent to defraud, obtained Ksh 53,828,400 from Ismail Kolawole Adesina by falsely pretending he would export 33 Kilograms of Gold from Kenya to Dubai.

He was also charged with uttering a forged Kenya Airways bill to Ismail Kolawole Adesina purporting it to be genuine document issued by Kenya Airways for shipment of 33 Kilograms of gold to Dubai.

He denied the charges and case was slated for a mention on May 9, 2023.
