After Selena Gomez hinted that she might retire from music after one more album, Cardi B came into her defense and begged her not to quit and even went ahead to help her launch one epic era. – By Stephanie Mwangi.
Selena spoke about her retirement on the April issue of vogue, saying:
“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously, I’ve had moments where I have been like what’s the point ,why do I keep doing this, what’s the point? Lose you to love me felt was the best song I’ve ever released and for some people it still wasn’t enough.”
Even though she felt there are enough people who do enjoy her music she went on to say “for that I am thankful , for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it will be different I want to give it one last try before I retire music.
Selena is currently filming her Hulu series called only murders in the building with Steve martin and martin short.
Cardi B though didn’t seem to agree with her retirement and she thought that Selena needed one more era an edgy one that no one ever seen her as, and I would also love to give her some ideas.
“Selena is such a sweet person, and we celebs get picked apart all the time, if she wants to leave, leave because you want to not because of these fuckers.”
The two have been on a song with DJ Snake called Taki Taki.
