Cash Boxes stolen from Nairobi West ATM found Empty in Kiambu– No arrests yet, Police say

BY GERALD GEKARA – Kenyan Police has recovered empty cash boxes from the 72 Million shilling theft that was allegedly carried out by thieves masquerading as G4S security officers.

According to Kikuyu Police station, a man who was passing by Thogoto forest spotted the damaged boxes abandoned alongside a mobile phone and a SIM card.

No arrest has been made so far concerning the heist that shocked the nation.

The heist that occured in Nairobi West Standard Chartered bank ATM, easily joins the series of movie style bank heists that has seen Kenyan banks; KCB, Barclays Bank, and Standard Chartered loose over 100 million.
