Drama unfolded in Thomas Kimeu Mulwa’s homestead in Kathonzweni sub-county, Makueni on Wednesday evening after he found one Maloba Wesonga, a catholic priest with his wife alone in the house.
Mr. Mulwa found a strange car parked in his compound and upon inquiry, he was informed by his domestic worker that it belonged to Fr. Maloba.
The businessman knocked severally with no response from his wife. Fearing for the worse, Furious Mulwa shot four times at Maloba’s car and deflated all the tires.
Report from the police is that officers from Kavumbu police station visited Kimeu’s home and disarmed him, following an alarm from the area chief.
Makueni police boss, Joseph Naipeiyan confirmed the incident but said he is yet to receive concrete information on the matter.
Currently, the matter in question is being investigated by officers from the DCI.
