The Catholic Church has sharply pointed out that it will not allow the auction of Kenya to murderers clothed as pro-life activists.
Bishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba of Nakuru said the church was fed up by attempts to introduce laws that threaten the youth and said they will stop at nothing to stop these evil schemes.
“We will reject these attempts to auction Kenya for 20 cents under the guise of health education”, he said.
Speaking during the celebration of Holy Mass at Holy Family, the Bishop said the Church will no longer be a passive participant, cheering on as the constitution is torn to pieces by activists.
He urged the Senate to decide whether to join the auctioneers or protect the Constitution on the basis of which they are elected.
“The Church will constructively engage the Senate and defeat this Bill. We have better options of addressing the challenges facing the youth”, he said.
Muhatia said the Catholic Church was satisfied with the measures put in place to contain the Covid 19 crisis and flatten the curve.
The Church, he said appreciates the role played by the family during the crisis and urged for the protection of the unit.
“We shall engage the senate and defeat the evil scheme of introducing sex education and abortion in schools”, Muhatia said.
