Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has written a message of congratulations to his wife Mary Wanyonyi Chebukati.
Chebukati congratulated Mary on her appointment as Chairperson of the Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA), a position she assumed after taking the oath of office on Monday morning.
“Your dedication and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the Mandate of the CRA and prosperity for all Kenyans. Keep your fidelity to the Constitution and the Law. Wishing you great success in this important role,” Chebukati wrote in a tweet on Monday
Mary was sworn in as Chief Justice Martha Koome presided over the ceremony on Monday.
Ms Wanyonyi was appointed CRA chairperson by President Ruto in May 2023. She will succeed Jane Kiringai, who retired in February 2023.
