CJ Koome Bids Farewell To Commissioner Njeru, Set To Swear Omwanza Ombati As New JSC Member

    Chief Justice Martha Koome has waved farewell to the outgoing Commissioner Macharia Njeru in the Judicial Service Commission whose tenure of office draws to a close as the JSC looks forward to swearing in the new Commissioner Mr. Omwanza Ombati tomorrow.

    The Chief Justice said she wished to extend sincere gratitude for Mr. Macharia’s unwavering dedication to upholding justice, fairness and the rule of law throughout her tenure.

    According to CJ Koome, his leadership as Vice Chairperson of the JSC and Chairperson of the Audit, Governance, and Risk Management Committee has played a crucial role in driving substantial progress and tangible positive impact within the JSC, Judiciary and the broader justice sector.

    “I wish Macharia Njeru success in his future endeavors and warmly welcome the incoming LSK male representative to the JSC, Omwanza Ombati, as we continue championing collective transformation in the administration of justice.” said CJ Martha Koome.
