BY FAITH MUTETE – After the video of the student using inappropriate language went viral, citizens have had one or two things to say about the moral decay in he students, with psychologists saying that this was a wakeup call of the cry of children in our society.
Following this Textbook center has pulled down a book from their shelves which is believed to use the f-word and recommended for class six pupils.
It says that the organization upholds and promotes morality in society and shall not be stocking the book entitled ‘Blood Ties’.
This comes a day after KICD denounced the book after some parents brought out their angry sentiments.
The publishers of the book , Story Moja, still agreed there was nothing wrong with the content but noted to review the book opposing the allegations that the book was meant for class six pupils.
The managing editor noted that the book was appropriate for high school readers and above.
