A Sunday of long knives was unveiled in the Premier League. Premier league’s most successful teams were humiliated.
Manchester United hit 6-1 by Tottenham and Liverpool hammered 7-2 by Aston Villa.

In both cases, the lovers were outplayed, outmaneuvered, outthought and vanquished their worst defeats for both managers Old Gunner Solskajer and Jurgen Klop.

Liverpool shambolic defense was exposed by a vibrant Aston Villla side, raising concerns that Virgil Van Dijk is no longer the best Premier league defender.

Next, Liverpool meet their noisy neighbors Everton, the runaway leaders under the indefatigable Carlo Ancelloti. The Liverpool machine looked rusty, without the Covid-19 illness to Sadio Mane. And for the first time, Jurgen Klop looked clueless.
If the performance of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea is anything to go by Everton may as well win the league.
