Collins Okundi, the person suspected of killing Mama Ida Odinga’s bodyguard, is scheduled to enter a plea today in front of the Kisumu high court.
A magistrate court had mandated on Monday that the suspect undergo a mental examination at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital before his trial.
The test results are anticipated to be submitted in court today, at which point the accused will either enter a guilty or not-guilty plea to the charge of fatally shooting Barack Oduor.
On that Monday, Senior Resident Magistrate Beryl Omollo ordered that the accused be held at the Kodiaga maximum jail until today, when he will enter a plea.
