Daud Moustapha commonly known as Colonel Mustafa has revealed in a candid interview with Alex Mwakideu about his current relationship.
During the interview with Alex Mwakideu, Mustafa revealed he is currently having a partner, but he has not introduced her to the public.
He confessed his undying love for her and revealed she is deaf.
The Umenikumbuka hit maker revealed that his lover lost the ability to hear not so long ago after being hit by a stone when she was travelling.
The rapper dated celebrities, including socialite Huddah Monroe and rapper Noti Flow. Life took a turn for the worse, and he had to take up menial jobs at construction sites to fend for himself.
When a video of him working at the construction site appeared on social media, fans were shocked and many offered donations to him.
Following the virality of his video, Kenyans from all walks of life had been fundraising for him and his family.
More than a million shillings had been channeled his way, so that he can pay medical bills for his mother who is battling cancer.
At that time, he revealed that his mother was battling cancer. That has been Mustafa’s roughest time, but all that didn’t deter him from being positive about life.
He divulged that the millions he made got lost while in lust; something which he claims he regrets dearly.
Mustafa was born in Dar es Salaam, to a Kenyan dad, Mr Germa Moustapha, and a Tanzanian mum, Fatma.
He studied there a bit then transferred to Kenya, where he finished his education.
His music career kicked off after being discovered by Lucas of Ogopa DJs during Jam sessions back in 2003. He was in a crew called Dessert Vultures.
He later formed Deux Vultures with Nasty Thomas after releasing ‘Monalisa’.
