A casual laborer fell from 14th floor of a building under construction and died on the spot in Pangani area, Nairobi.
Cornelius Simiyu, 35 was among 40 workers at the site when he slid and fell to the ground floor dying on the spot.
The body was moved to the mortuary. Police said they will involve officials from the National Construction Authority (NCA) in the probe into the incident.
Such incidents are common at construction sites and have been blamed on lack of protective gears.
The body was moved to a Nairobi hospital mortuary.
