A 27 year old man died after a steel rod hit him at a construction site in Tassia area, Nairobi.
Allan Munyao was among those at the site when the rod fell and hit him on the head and he died on the spot.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
Such accidents are common at construction sites due to negligence and lack of protection.
Officials from National Construction Authority are set to visit the site as part of the probe into the accident.
