One Stephen Munga alias Shanty attended the Nai fest which was on the 7th of November and his whereabouts were unknown which left the friends and family searching for him .Today the 14th of November he was found dead at city mortuary beaten to death. The beating was a result of a scuffle between him and the bouncers. Another complaint was from Gwash fat boy who also had the same complaint where his crew was harassed by the bouncer’s right before his performance on stage and when they tried recording the bouncers crushed his phone.
The Bridget world foundation owner Bridget Achieng had this to say after the whole controversy
“People think you trying to flex, meanwhile you just proud of yourself! Let’s get real when other people do events no one talks trash, I was just a young woman doing it on her own, I deserve some accolades. I’ve really fought to be the woman I am today against all odds. I have fought to be on the map it’s not easy .I have used every single coin I have to keep my business alive if you really knew what people are going through off Instagram you would be happy for them and not jealous .Right now people I didn’t wrong are on my case I said I am very sorry on behalf of my team.
We did all we could to make the event a success I’m sure next time we’ll do better. To the life lost it was not my team. We picked an injured young boy and took him to the hospital he was alive when he got there from the CCTV footage let me not be blamed for somethings just because am an easy target. My lawyers are on toes and anybody trolling me without any evidence will be served. I am a mother, daughter, sister, aunty and a friend.
