Police authorities have asked the Nairobi County engineers to move with speed and unclog most blocked drainage systems to address periodical flooding in the city.
Police say the flooding affect traffic flow in the city whenever it rains and fear for the worst following warning by weathermen there will be heavy rains for two months from next month.
For instance, heavy rains that were experienced last evening caused major flooding and traffic jams on key roads in the city.
