Couple Charged After Beating Up Neighbour For Making Sexual Advances

A woman from Kayole in Nairobi accused of fracturing her neighbor’s fingers for ceaselessly stalking her has claimed the complainant has been making unwelcome sexual advances at her despite knowing she is married.

She was charged alongside her husband for jointly causing serious injuries to the complainant contrary to section 234 of the Penal Code.

It is alleged that the couple beat him up for reportedly stalking her.

She told the court that her husband works as a bodaboda rider at night and the complainant who is their neighbor has been taking advantage of his absence to seek sexual favors from her even after warning him to keep off.

She added that she had already reported him at Kayole police station after noticing he had been stalking her but no action was taken.

She further informed the court that she had an OB showing she had filed a complaint against the neighbor at the station.

The couple is accused of assaulting the man at a plot where they live in Kayole, Nairobi, on September 4th,

The complainant was heading to his house after work when he saw the duo, who allegedly began insulting him before attacking him, raining blows and kicks on him.

They allegedly wrestled him to the ground as he made distress calls and twisted his two fingers, fracturing them before members of the public intervened and rescued him.
