The High Court has rejected to impose orders prohibiting the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs from considering the petition seeking the removal of IEBC commissioner Juliana Cherera from office.
Instead, on December 14th, Justice Mugure Thande directed the case by Cherera.
Juliana Cherera, through her lawyer Apollo Mboya, filed a motion in court today to halt proceedings before the parliament until the outcome of her lawsuit.
She claims that the four days allocated to her are insufficient and will prevent her from having a fair trial.
