Dalcom Kenya has taken the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to court for allegedly preventing the company from accessing funds in its bank account.
The company, which specializes in the production of speed limiters and tracking devices, claims that despite visiting the State agency’s offices and raising objections, KRA has refused to listen to them.
Dalcom now claims that they are concerned and fearful that their properties will be auctioned, resulting in client loss.
They are now asking the court to order KRA to pay them for the damages acrued.
The company claims that they received notice from KRA in March of this year claiming that they had failed to remit tax for the period of November 2014 to July 2016.
