Daring Nairobi man sneaks into police station, steals from police officer’s car

A daring old man has pleaded guilty to breaking into Central Police Station in Nairobi and stealing Car Power window switch from a Police motor vehicle.

Francis Nzomo Ndotho, the accused was today arraigned before Milimani Law Courts Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi where he pleaded with the Court to pardon his crime saying poverty made him steal from the Law Enforcement Facility.

According to the prosecution, Francis Nzomo on August 19, 2024 broke into Central Police Station Yard in Nairobi and stole the power switch of a motor vehicle belonging to Cpl Joseph Karanja.

In mitigation he told court to help him saying that he will never steal again.

He said that he is a husband of one and a father of three and that he is the only hope at home hence the court has to tamper justice with mercy.

“Naomba Korti inisaidie na sitarudia hio makosa tena, niko na bibi na watoto watatu na Mimi ndio tengemeo nyumbani…” pleaded Francis Nzomo.

The court slated September 5, 2024, for sentencing.
