DCI Breaks Silence: Gives Details Of Six Bodies Found At Embakasi Quarry

A horrific discovery was made yesterday at an abandoned quarry in Mukuru kwa Njenga, Embakasi, when six severely mutilated bodies of females were found in various stages of decomposition.

The bodies were discovered wrapped in nylon papers and reinforced with nylon ropes.

According to a statement from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the alarm was raised by the public at approximately 11:00am, prompting an immediate response from the Embakasi Division Police and the DCI.

Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) personnel were deployed to the scene, where they retrieved the bodies and documented the area. Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were killed using a similar method.

The bodies have been taken to the City Mortuary, where post-mortem examinations will be conducted. Homicide detectives and officers from the Forensics Division of the DCI are currently analyzing samples to identify the victims.

The area has been cordoned off and designated as a crime scene as the investigation continues. The DCI has appealed to the public to cooperate with authorities as investigations continue.

The motive behind the gruesome murders remains unknown, and it is unclear whether there are any connections between the victims.

The DCI is urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
