There is disappointment after the much hyped commissioning of the National Forensic Laboratory at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations was postponed at the last minute last night.
No reason was offered over the postponement even after all preparations were made ahead of the planned commissioning today.
President Uhuru Kenyatta was to officiate the event and all plans had been set in motion for the same when the news of the postponement were broken.
As part of the plans, the DCI told all applicants for the Police Clearance Certificate (Good Conduct), who were scheduled to visit the headquarters today that the services will be unavailable.
The laboratory will help in solving many crime incidents in the country among others.
