Sleuths investigating the death of top lawyer Kyalo Mbobu have interviewed a Kitengela-based lady over the murder.
The lady, who’s identity remains hidden, said to be close to the late lawyer, is not a person of great interest for now but was close to the late lawyer.
Kyalo Mbobu was gunned down on September 10, 2025 along Magadi Road as he drove home alone. A motorbike with two assailants stopped by the roadside, and one of its occupants pulled out a pistol and shot the lawyer dead, in full view of motorists.
DCI codorned off the scene, as efforts to gather evidence from the gory crime scene began.
So far, a senior politician alongside the lawyer and friends have been questioned over the brutal murder.
It has also been established that Kyalo was owed close to Sh500 million by a prominent family involved in a bitter struggle for their late political patriarch.
Mbobu was one of the lawyers in the multi-billion estate dispute involving three wives and a concubine of the politician.
He represented one of the widows and successfully helped the family recover property worth Sh200 billion within Nairobi metropolis.
