DCI raids Nakuru gang, recovers military uniforms

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers based in Nakuru county have arrested five members of a suspected criminal gang.

According to the sleuths, the goons were ambushed in a rental house at Zanzibar area in Rurii-Nakuru County.

Two pairs of military uniforms, rolls of bhang, bottles of alcohol, and several sim cards were found in their possession.

The five, Clinton Engoke Isandura, Evans Siocha Mose, Ephantus Kariuki Mwangi, Peter Gachiengu Kariuki, and Betty Wanjiku Githuku are being held at the area police station, pending investigations.

The DCI said it was acting on a tip-off from members of the public, before arresting the drunk gang of four men and a lady in the single room.
