DCI Rescues 4 Year-Old Baby From Kidnappers

DCI investigators have rescued baby Liam Ngucwa Mwangi, who has been missing since June 2nd.

After days of searching, baby Liam, who is believed to have been kidnapped by his grandparents’ houseboy, was discovered in a house in Naivasha, Nakuru county.

In a viral online appeal, the bereaved parents and relatives begged Kenyans to volunteer any information they may have about their son’s location.

They revealed that their child was last seen in Thika, in the presence of their houseboy, Charles King’ori alias Delvin Maina.

The DCI says detectives from the Crime Research & Intelligence Bureau, participated in the search, aided by Special Service Unit peers.

Meanwhile, authorities are on the lookout for infant Liam’s kidnappers, who managed to flee only moments before he was rescued.

Cases of kidnappings have been on the rise, even as Kenyans come to terms with the death of 7 year old Shantel Nzembi who killed by her assailants.
