Residents of various estates in Nairobi have woken up to strange graffiti painted on their vehicles. The insignia, ‘DX Dynasties’ has been rumored to mean ‘End Dynasties’.
Incidences have been reported in Kasarani, Buruburu, Ruiru and the Nairobi CBD.
The vandalism that that has since aroused viral conversation on social media, is a tell tale sign of the rising political hate being spewed to clash the haves and have nots.
Both sides of the political divide have had a part to play in propagating the ideology, with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga castigating Deputy President William Ruto’s move to empower hustlers.
DP Ruto on the other hand continues to preach for more resources and government positions accorded to ordinary Kenyans.
The National Cohesion and Integration Commission, @NCIC_Kenya has warned against the rising Hustler vs Dynasty narrative saying it’s a recipe for violence between the rich and the poor.
