The National Police Service Commission has begun interviewing candidates for the position of Deputy Inspector General Kenya Police Service (DIG KPS) to find a Mr. Edward Mbugua successor.

The Commission is conducting interviews with the 12 shortlisted applicants to choose the best one to be recommended to HE the President for consideration and, if necessary, action.

The one-day activity is anticipated to give the Commission the time it needs to compile and deliver a report to HE the President within the legally required 14 days following the vacancy.

The National Police Service Commission invited the public to send any information about the selected candidates in writing to the chairperson at Sky Park Plaza, 5th Floor WoodvaleClose, Westlands, or online at recruitmentdig2023@npsc.go.ke by April 3, 2023, at 1 PM East African Time.
