Devolution Principal Secretary Julius Kiplagat Korir has failed to appear before court again.
Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi has on Thursday morning issued the last summon to PS Julius Kiplagat Korir to appear before the Court on Monday 14th February 2022.
Mr. Kiplagat Kirui has deliberately failed to appear before Court for a plea taking over assault allegations despite numerous Court summons to do so.
The PS devolution Julius Kirui is suspected to have caused grieveous bodily harm to his estranged ex-wife Everlyn Chepkorir Koech contrary to the Law.
It is alleged that on the 17th day of September 2020, the suspect assaulted Everlyn occasioning her bodily harm.
Korir might lose his job as a result of Chapter 6 of the Constitution and the Leadership and Integrity Act, which specifies that “any State officer who enters a plea in a criminal matter is automatically suspended.”
