Diamond Platnumz has accused the media of driving a wedge between him and fellow Tanzanian crooner Ali Kiba.
Diamond said there is no bad blood between him and Ali Kiba, blaming the Tanzanian media for fueling the perceived animosity.
“I have no problem with Ali Kiba. I have never quarreled with him. I believe the feeling is mutual and if he an issue with me he would call me to settle the matter,” Diamond said during an interview.
He has also denied removing Ali Kiba’s verse from a song on which they had planned to collaborate.
“I’ve previously collaborated with a number of foreign artists.” So why would I have a problem collaborating with a fellow Tanzanian who wants to do a similar project with me?” He made a pose.
He went on to say that healthy competition among East African artists is preferable to personal conflicts.
“Unnecessary beef is wreaking havoc on the industry.” “It is more beneficial to challenge people to work,” he says.
