Diamond Platnumz has denied claims that he buys YouTube views, saying that he focuses on making quality music and videos. Diamond who is the CEO of Wasafi has garnered over 1 billion views said he focuses his energy on making quality music and videos.
He also said that he invests heavily on whatever it is that he does to ensure that he portrays a good image and gives his audience a good production.
“When we blacked out on several media outlets we invested in social media platforms where we now have almost 5 million subscribers, this means that once I post a video there will be some 300k people ready to watch.”
I would like to do something that measures whether am growing or not.” said Diamond.
He finds it pointless spending tons of millions on videos to then go set another budget to pay people to watch the videos once they get posted.
He went on to say that not every artist can make it trending to top ten. But he said if a song is good it will get people’s attention without having to beg for it.
“For example Rostam, how come their songs go to number one? The other day stamina released a single with professor jay and it got to the top as well .so we have to believe in good songs.” said Diamond.
He became the first sub-Saharan African to hit one billion mark on YouTube.
