Didmus Barasa, the newly elected member of parliament, is now in police custody.
According to reports, Barasa turned himself in at the Bungoma police station.
He surrendered less than a day after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) dispatched a team of specialized officers to assist in his capture.
Hon Barasa, is wanted for the cold-blood murder of Brian on Tuesday, whom he shot on the forehead killing him instantly.
However, in an application filed to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions through senior counsel Khaminwa, Hon Barasa is seeking to block his arrest vide an application for bail pending his arrest.
