The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has sent a warning to Didmus Barasa, who has since gone into hiding after the brutal murder of Brian Olunga.
The Kimilili Constituency Legislator has defied authority orders to surrender to the nearest Police station within the next 6 hours.
Hon Barasa, is wanted for the cold-blood murder of Brian on Tuesday, whom he shot on the forehead killing him instantly.Â
A specialized team of sleuths based from the elite Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau together with the Homicide department officers has been dispatched on the ground for his manhunt.
The office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation has further stated that serious action will be taken against any person found harbouring the murder suspect.
However, in an application filed to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions through senior counsel Khaminwa, Hon Barasa is seeking to block his arrest vide an application for bail pending his arrest.
The application seeks to stagnate any attempt from the authorities in arresting Hon Barasa until the application is prosecuted and appropriate orders are made in accordance to the law according Barasa.
