The National Police Service on Tuesday witnessed the brief handing over ceremony from the outgoing Deputy Inspector General-Kenya Police Service (KPS), Mr. Edward N. Mbugua to Mr. Abdalla Komesha, Ag.DIG following the retirement of Mr. Mbugua today.
Mr. Komesha was appointed on Monday by the National Police Service Commission in an acting capacity for 14 days.
Until his appointment, Mr. Komesha, a career detective, was the Principal Assistant to the IG-NPS.
During the brief ceremony held at Vigilance House and witnessed by KPS Directors, the outgoing DIG appreciated KPS Officers for the support that they accorded him during his tenure.
