A Walt Disney World employee is recovering after being injured by a 400-pound (180kg) runaway prop boulder during a live stunt show—an incident captured on video and confirmed by the Florida theme park.
The accident occurred during the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! while performers were recreating the famous boulder chase scene from the film.

Footage shows the fake boulder rolling toward the seated audience before a staff member rushes into its path, stopping it from reaching the crowd. The worker was injured in the effort.
In a statement Wednesday, Disney said, “We’re focused on supporting our cast member, who is recovering,” adding, “Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes a review of what happened.”
