A newly released surveillance video appears to show Sean “Diddy” Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.
The video corroborates allegations Ventura made in a lawsuit filed against Combs late last year.
The lawsuit, which has since been settled, detailed a decade-long pattern of abuse by Combs, including physical coercion, drug use, and a 2018 rape. ‘
Combs has denied all accusations against him.
In the video, Ventura is seen leaving a hotel room when Combs, wearing only a towel, chases after her, throws her to the ground, and assaults her.
Ventura’s lawyer released a statement calling the video “gut-wrenching” and praising Ventura’s courage for coming forward.
This incident is just one of several accusations of sexual assault against Combs.
He is currently facing multiple lawsuits and his homes were raided by federal agents earlier this year.
