DNA Test Order For Mwingi Bus Victims

Families of the Enziu River tragedy will have to wait longer to burry their dead after the Government ordered DNA test on all the bodies.

This is after families failed to positively identify their loved ones due to confusion.

The two St. Peter Clavers Brothers Rev Brother Kangethe and Rev Wafula are among the bodies that will be subjected to a DNA test.

There after, they will be buried at Kaumoni, Parish in Makueni, Machakos Diocese.

The St. Cecilia Choir members have all been positively identified.

But burial plans will remain on hold until identification is completed.

Two Muslims who were part of the wedding party have already been buried.

The Kityambu family lost 11 family members in the tragedy.
All now must wait for identification.

In total, two Somali nationals, 3 pupils, 16 choir members, and 11 family members have been identified as the casualties of the Enziu tragedy.

The St. Gabriel pupils are aged between 8 and 12 years.
