DP Gachagua Defends President Ruto After Citicism On Foreign Trips

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has defended his boss William Ruto following criticism that his foreign trips cost the taxpayer more than his predecessor.

Condemning critics, the DP said on Thursday that President William Ruto’s foreign trip was yielding results in various projects.

“Rais kuna wale wanakupigia kelele ati unaenda nchi za Ng’ambo sijui kufanya nini…Tungetaka kuambiwa matunda ya rais kutembea nchi imepatikana,” he said.

Gahchagua also urged President Ruto to visit more places where Kenyans would benefit.

He stated that the President was elected and given authority to assist Kenyans and improve the country’s economy.

“Ukiona merikani nipenye wakenya watafaidika, paa angani kwa ndege na uende. Those asking should come witness what the president is commissioning,” Gachagua said.

“Rais anaenda kazi si kujivinjari.Lazima rais atembeee.Rais, I want to encourage you with your trips because they have put Kenya on the world map,” he added.
