DP Gachagua Holds Talks With Israel Ambassador Lotem

    The Israel Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Michael Lotem paid a courtesy call to Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday morning at Harambee House Annex.

    In a statement, DP Gachagua said they discussed various issues, among them the drought situation in Kenya and areas of mutual collaboration between the Republic of Kenya and Israel, including Agriculture, Health, and Water.

    “Kenya and Israel have enjoyed strong, fruitful, and friendly relations over the years based on respect and trust,” Gachagua said.

    Israel and Kenya have had a number of common and similar historical experiences and wish to foster this in the future.

    “We will continue strengthening our bilateral cooperation for the good of our people and nations,” he added.
