Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is scheduled to visit Masinga and Kangundo Constituencies in Machakos County today as part of the government’s ongoing economic empowerment campaign.
The visit follows Kindiki’s engagement in Machakos Town Constituency on Friday, where he reaffirmed the Kenya Kwanza administration’s commitment to delivering development projects across all regions of the country. He emphasized that no ward or county would be left behind in the government’s development agenda.
“Every county, every ward in this country will benefit from development projects that will improve the lives of the people,” the Deputy President assured residents during the town hall-style meeting.
During his tour, Kindiki also cautioned against leaders and individuals attempting to sow division along tribal lines, insisting that unity and equitable development remain top priorities for the administration.
In Machakos County, the government has launched several initiatives aimed at uplifting local communities. These include the construction of 15 modern markets and multiple affordable housing projects, with thousands of units planned for students in universities, technical institutes, and colleges across the county.
Today’s engagements in Masinga and Kangundo will focus on strengthening economic programs that target grassroots empowerment, with the Deputy President expected to meet local leaders, youth groups, and community stakeholders.
