DP Ruto Airs Frustrations Over Mount Kenya Alliance

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri, and Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua’s decision to form an alliance have been disputed by Deputy President William Ruto.

Their latest move to form a political party that will be used to negotiate with the Mt Kenya People was castigated as an attempt to unite Kenya along tribal lines.

“We have a structured contest, the people of Kenya will choose between making peace with the mediocrity of tribal alliances that benefit leaders through position sharing and power-sharing and the economic revolution that we are promoting as the hustler nation,” DP Ruto said.

Deputy President William Ruto believes the present UDA is capable of retaining all leaders who support his hustler agenda.

Despite the Deputy President’s stance, Moses Kuria explained that they are pushing for their political party because they want to keep the region relevant.

“We must not be labeled as tribalists when we announce plans to form political parties even as we promise our support for Ruto.”
