United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential candidate William Ruto has questioned Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s academic qualifications.
Speaking in Manga, Nyamira on Thursday, the deputy president said that the former Prime minister should give proof of where he schooled, his classmates and his teachers.
According to the DP, it is unknown what Odinga studied and where he studied.
“If there is anyone with questionable academic credentials, it is your Azimio presidential candidate,” the DP said.
“Before you tell us anything, your presidential candidate Raila should show us where he schooled, his classmates and who his teachers were. Stop the conmanship,” he added.
Ruto insisted that the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance candidate, who claims to have a degree, could not prove what he studied.
“I want to ask the people of Azimio, what did your candidate study, where did he school and who taught him? You can’t answer all that yet you want to tell us he has a degree? From where?” the DP posed.
Ruto also asked the Deep State to leave their UDA’s gubernatorial candidate Johnson Sakaja alone as he went to school and graduated.
He urged the Deep State to stop wasting time fighting Sakaja as he will defeat their Jubilee candidate in the August elections.
An IEBC tribunal is hearing a petition from a voter who wants Sakaja disqualified from the Nairobi gubernatorial race due to questionable academic credentials after presenting a degree from Team University in Uganda.
