Senator Samuel Poghisio has accused DP William Ruto of facilitating spread of Covid-19 in Kapenguria over the weekend.
Poghisio, who is the area Senator said the locals were mobilised against Covid-19 regulations to attend the launch of United Democratic Movement(UDA).
DP William Ruto announced he will vie for the Presidency on the party ticket.
The DP said Jubillee Party has been cannibalised by President Kenyatta, in a bid to frustrate his 2022 bid.
During the Kapenguria rallies, the DP accused his boss of promoting tribal alliances to shore up Raila Odinga’s bid. Poghisio said the locals will suffer should Covid-19 cases shoot up and said DP will be held responsible. He was speaking during a church function in Kiambu.
