A Mombasa court had deferred sentencing businessman Abdulmajid Timami citing that the Court required a presentencing report from the probation department to be able to come up with the most appropriate punishment.

The businessman was convicted last week for trafficking Sh3M of heroin, however, the court deferred the sentencing to Monday 16th Jan.

Timami was convicted after prosecution presented 8 witnesses and proved that he indeed trafficked 1015.8gms of heroin.
