Police officers in Ruai ward are looking for one of the drivers of the Rencas Education Center school bus, which crashed at the Reflector Kamulu side.
According to those who witnessed the accident, as soon as the driver was rescued, he broke free from their hands and escaped.
Eyewitnesses explained that there were no students in there, while the last student to leave had been brought down for a short time to his station.
Residents have asked drivers to be careful and not to use alcohol or drugs while at work in order not to endanger those being transported, passers-by and themselves.
The principal of the school has agreed to cooperate with police officers to locate the driver.
