The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on Monday arrested Huruma Ward MCA Peter Owera Oluoch on allegations of forgery and providing false information in the Self Declaration Forms.
According to EACC, Mr. Oluoch declared that he held a Diploma from Kenya Polytechnic in the Self-Declaration Form which upon verification by the Commission, it was established that the suspect was never a student for the Diploma program at Kenya Polytechnic.
He is further alleged to have forged the signature and stamp impression of an Advocate and Commissioner for Oaths.
The suspect is being held at the Integrity Centre police station and will be arraigned in court tomorrow 4th March 2025.
“EACC is investigating several Government officials for forgery of academic certificates,” the authority said.
