The procurement, human resource, and financial management systems of the Siaya County Government are the focus of a corruption risk assessment exercise that was started by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Governor James Orengo and EACC Commissioner Dr. Cecilia Mutuku served as the event’s hosts.

EACC is pursuing corrective measures to prevent corruption in the county.

The law requires EACC to review any public entity’s operational systems in order to secure changes and revisions.

EACC either initiates the assessments on its own initiative or in response to an invitation from a public institution.
