EACC, Global Compact Kenya to Launch Corruption Risk Management Guidelines

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), in collaboration with the Global Compact Network Kenya (GCNK), is set to launch the Corruption Risk Assessment and Management Guidelines aimed at strengthening anti-corruption efforts across sectors.

The Guidelines provide a structured and practical framework for organizations to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate corruption risks within their operations. Designed for use by both public and private entities, the framework promotes ethical governance and enhances institutional integrity.

According to the EACC, the new guidelines also empower the Commission to assist interested entities in establishing robust anti-bribery and corruption prevention procedures. This is expected to play a critical role in supporting Kenya’s broader efforts to foster transparency and accountability.

The launch event will bring together key stakeholders, including EACC Chairperson, Dr. David Oginde, Commissioners, Secretary and CEO, Mr. Abdi A. Mohamud, and Sasini Plc Group MD and CEO, Mr. Martin Ochien’g, who also chairs the GCNK Board. Global Compact Network Kenya Executive Director, Ms. Judy Njino will also be in attendance.

The partnership reflects a growing emphasis on multi-sector collaboration in the fight against corruption, with the Guidelines anticipated to set a new standard in corporate and public sector governance across Kenya.
