Education CS Ogamba To Visit Hillside Academy After Fatal Fire Accident

The boys died after a fire ripped through their dormitory at around 3 am on Friday, burning their bodies beyond recognition and leaving 14 others nursing injuries.

Ogamba said his ministry will work with the Interior and National Administration and other relevant state agencies to address the incident and support the victims and their families.

“We will undertake a quick, thorough and comprehensive investigation into the incident,” Ogamba said.

The CS who took flight from Beijing on Friday morning is on a non-stop journey to Hillside Endarasha Academy to offer support for the affected families and provide a roadmap on how the government will address the incident.

Ogamba was part of a delegation that accompanied President William Ruto on his official trip to China.
