The Evergreen Sports CS Amina Mohammed has joined the roll of advocates in Kenya. Amina was admitted yesterday as an advocate of the high court by Chief Justice David Maraga in what could be Maraga”s last admission of advocates. Maraga is set to retire in November this year.

The writs for his job are about to be advertised by the Judicial Service Commission. Amina Mohammed has become a journeyman in the cabinet having been shuffled from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Education. And then Sports.

She is one of the CS’s ear marketed for sacking to pave way for a fresh face from Western Province. She was born and brought up in Kakamega and speaks fluent Luhya. The Abdalla family owned several businesses in the county that Amina is very affectionate about. She could be a surprise candidate for one of the elective posts at the Kakamega County.
