The primary suspect in the October 1, 2022 arson attack that killed seven members of a family in Ngimari village, Embu East Sub-county, has been apprehended in Kakamega County.
According to Kakamega County Commander Joseph Kigen, the man was apprehended on Friday night in Ebuchangu village, Navakholo Sub-county.
The seven family members- a father, mother, two daughters, a son, and two grandchildren- were burnt beyond recognition after a fire obliterated their three-bedroomed house on Saturday, October 1.
The fire gutted their three-bedroom house in Ngimari village, Embu County – that was made of timber- burning them beyond recognition.
