Environment, Climate Change and Forestry Cabinet Secretary, Hon Soipan Tuya on Thursday met with Nairobi Governor Johnston Sakaja.
The meeting discussed the partnership between the County and the Ministry in accelerating the 15 billion tree growing and restoration campaign through seedlings propagation in schools, institutions of high learning, and public institutions.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretaries Eng Festus K Ng’eno (Environment & Climate Change) Ephantus Kimotho (Forestry) Nairobi County CEC for Green Nairobi, Maureen Njeri, Nairobi Water MD Eng Nahashon Muguma technical officers from the two institutions among others.
